About work - short

Started out as an interior architect. Swtitched to animation and design. Another switch to movie- and documentarymaking. And another to marketing and communication. All before realising that all the things I did had one key element: storytelling. So in the last 15 years I found myself at the intersection of marketing, communication, brandbuilding, strategy and experience design and told many great stories. And found myself lucky to have worked internationally with big brands on interesting prizewinning projects with a lot of fantastic people.

My CV - short

Since 2002 I’ve worked independently as creative director, marketeer or brand-strategist on many internal and external campaigns, brand- and communication projects, graphic design, film, TV, photography, online marketing and experience design for brands such as Montblanc, KPMG, DVTCH AMSTERDAM, Albert Heijn, RABO, Dela, JUMBO, The Better Company, KLM, Dutch National Ballet, AHRMA and many others…

  • Experience Design

Often it’s better to let people just see and feel what you story is. For the Dutch National Ballet I co-directed a ballet in Virtual Reality named Nightfall. It was a world’s first experience bringing ballet from a stage setting to a close up experience inside your head.

  • Execution

Coming from the ‘makers side’ I developed a lot of knowledge on and a large skillset in creative producing. But it is my genuine love for creation that makes the ultimate difference in my output. It’s not the devil’s in the detail - he’s everywhere…
